Travel Information

There are many and sundry ways to get to Pippin Hill Farm and Vineyards.  Both the ceremony and the reception will be held there, so once you arrive, you are all set for the evening.  The information below should help you plan your trip and get you to the festivities.

Travel by car

Google Maps will easily get you to Pippin Hill via the main roads.  However, if you have time on your hands and would like to enjoy the beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains, you may be interested in driving towards Charlottesville down the Skyline Drive or the Blue Ridge Parkway.  If you decide to do this, you will drive to the crossing with Interstate 64, and then follow these directions:

Travel by air

• Charlottesville Albemarle Airport (CHO) – 20 Miles
• Richmond International Airport (RIC) – 90 Miles
• Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD) – 112 Miles

Travel by rail

Amtrak provides service to downtown Charlottesville from Washington DC and points north and south.

• Charlottesville, VA (CVS) – 13.5 Miles

Travel by foot

From north or south, we recommend taking the Appalachian Trail towards the crossing of Interstate 64 and Skyline Drive.  Leave the trail at that point and follow these directions. Please note that there are not showers at the winery, so please make arrangements on your own.
